A busy week for cardmaking.

Three down and 1 to go, thank goodness I've only 1 in April and 1 in May.  I might be able to get ahead of myself for June and July, well that is the plan anyway.  I hope you like todays additions.  Thanks for stopping by.

Get well card
crafting this week.  I made this card last night.  As usual with me my cards never turn out how I imagine them.  I still have another get well/thinking of you card to make.  Both cards are for ladies in my church who both had major surgery last Wednesday.

Backing paper is from Tim Holtz inked with stormy sky distress ink.
Image is from last years calendar
Scalloped ovals from spellbinders and doily from Marriane dies.

It's been a long day

But just wanted to get this card uploaded before I go to bed as I'll not get near pc again till Wednesday.  Hope all you blog-hoppers have had a fun filled  crafty weekend.  I hope to get a chance to look at your blogs soon.
Have a good week, take care!

Another weekend another card

I was out most of yesterday and forgot I had a get well card to make for one of the young girls from my church.  She has been out in Laos for the last 2 years and never been ill, back in Scotland 1 week and has such a bad throat infection she went to A&E straight from church last week.  She was admitted and given antibiotics by I V and routine bloods were taken.   It was found she has some rare blood disease, that, had she not been here where we have all the facilities she would have died.  There are no medical  hospitals with all mod cons in Laos.  Those who can be are flown to Thailand in emergencies. Imagine my surprise to see her at church this morning not 100% recovered but getting there.  Anyway here is the card I made her.
