Just playing around

Afternoon All I do hope you are staying indoors keeping warm and dry.We have had a bit of rain here but it's the biting cold wind straight from the Siberian plains that is keeping me curled round the radiator. I got myself a new die the other day so had a play around and this card is the end result.   I had to put a coloured card behind the white card so it could be scanned properly.

New stamp

I made 2 cards yesterday using one of my purchases from Saturday.   Both are using the Edinburgh Castle stamp.  I hope you like them.

I had a great time at the Sincerely Yours craft show yesterday. I got quite a few goodies and for once bought what I went for first.  Tonight was the first chance I had to try out my new dies made just the one card but I am pleased with it.  I can't get in to DC as there is glitter in the works. so can't finish the blog hop but there's always tomorrow.

I have used 3 of the dies I got yesterday and part of a 4th one.  The flower at the top left  is from a Marianne frame and flower die.   The other dies are Memory box, Prim Poppy, Meadow leaf and Script Thanks.  I embossed the black card with a honeycomb embossing  board from Fiskars added some card candi and that's it.  The yellow card I have used for the die-cuts seems to have lost some of it's colour in the photo. It's the cut offs from the teen card I did the other day.
Well I hope you have all had a good and crafty weekend.  Catch you all later.  Time for my bed.

Another card for an almost teenager.  My printer ran out of ink so I only got the 2 bottom layers of the image but I think it works okay  Just noticed the bottom piece of card candi must have moved when I was scanning the card so will need to sort that.

I had a great day out at the Sincerely Yours show at Ingliston  Spent far too much on stamps and dies so I shall be going off for a bit of a play but first a bit of blog-hopping.  Thanks for popping by and for any comments you leave they are always appreciated.

Granddaughters birthday card

This card took a long time to make so I hope she will like it.  I've not heard of the boy group but she has a mug with them on it so printed off a picture of them and added to the card.  Along with a few pink bits as she is a very pink and sparkly  girl.   She will be 12 going on 22 at the end of the month.  Any way here is the card.

One more Easter card

First of all I'd like to thank all of you who have visited my blog and left so many lovely comments.
I've not done much crafting this week as I have been sanding down and varnishing my dining/craft table.  Last night I realized I had 1 more card to make for Easter so I had to find some bits that were already die-cut and
ready to be put together, then I headed for the kitchen.  This is the result.

Frustrated!!

Now don't go getting the wrong idea.....what I mean is this.  I couldn't get anything done over on DC .  Could get on to chat or upload so got busy catching up on some cards I needed to make.   Just need to upload them here and then off to bed.  It feels like it's been a very long day.   I don't think I have caught up with that hour we lost the other week.  Also I didn't get a chance over the weekend to do any blog-hopping, I will need to catch up later in the week.  My plans for tomorrow include sanding down my teak dining table which has suffered terribly from years of crafting.   Any way I hope you all have a good week.  Thanks for popping by.
