It's been a while again

Since I last visited.  Still having neck problems so trying to stay off the pc.  I have been making a card a day this week in between life and the terror terrier.  He's worse than a toddler wanting attention 100% of the time.  But enough of my moans and up with my cards atc's and fat pages.  Hope you all are keeping well and still finding time to craft in the run up to Christmas.  Have you got all your Christmas cards made yet?

Hello there, long time no see!

Hello All, I didn't realise it had been so long since I last updated my blog.  My neck pain has prohibited me from spending much time sitting at the pc.   So once I have visited the galleries over on DC and have a wee visit to Joanna Sheen  it's time to switch off and have some more pain killers and a cuppa.   I hope all of you are well and having lots of crafty time.

Hi Folks, Friday night seems to come around so quickly.   I've only made one card again this week.   A birthday card for my eldest granddaughter who was 19 on Wednesday.  Ohhh! that makes me feel so old.
I used my Tied together embossing folder on my card and then changed my mind and used the fan background card instead.  Oriental lady stamped and coloured with promarkers.  Black satin ribbon and pink velvet ribbon from my stash Flourish is from Cheery Lyn, flowers and card candi from stash.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing.
Thanks for popping by.

ODBD stamps Majestic squares and rossette dies
Good evening  Crafters,  I hope you are all well and have had a good week.   I've only made one card this week and just had to use my newest favourite stamp, the fishing boat from ODBD, and since I had bought the fishing net background stamp, also from ODBD it gave me a good excuse to use it again.   This time it is going to be a birthday card for my brother or uncle, I've not decided yet.   I do hope to get crafty over the weekend so might be back to add more

Stamp from ODBD sea stamps, lace and pearls from stash
sentiment computer generated, die-cuts from a box I cut out a while
ago so not quite sure which ones they are.
Hiya folks from a wet amd miserable Central Belt.  I thought I'd get a head start for a change  and be ready for the DC bloghop.  I hope you have all had some time to spend getting crafty.
I had to make sympathy cards this week as a young member of our church died on Sunday, she was just 22.  Very sad.  The funeral and thanks giving service is tomorrow.  Rachel has planned the funeral and service has chosen 16 songs to sing and I'm sure there will be lots of laughs amongst the sadness.  But with such a long service then off to the cremetorium and back to the church for a buffet tea I doubt I will get online tomorrow.  So I shall wish you all a happy weekend.   Thanks for popping by and commenting on my cards.

Another busy day

But at least I got some crafting done, though not untill I had spent a couple of hours in the sun reading my craft magazines.  Hope it was nice where you are.   So today I made 2 atc's and a fat page.  I was quite enjoying playing with just the same few stamps.  Thanks for hopping by.

A birthday card for my Brother in Law who was sent to the gym for 12 weeks on the NHS.  He's 63 over weight and has a dicky heart so the thought of him ending up looking like this made me smile.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my blogg and leave comments.   I really appreciate you all. Hope you have a crafty weekend.

Evening One and All,  it's been a cold wet day here today.   Thankfully the rest of the week was dry and sunny as I was painting my fences, 5 hours yesterday, it nearly killed me.  So no crafting done at all until tonight.  I made an atc.  Painted the background with acrylic paints then covered with versamark and utee.   Borrowd a Marriane die from next door and added one of the cameos I was given.  Finished off with some sticky backed jewels.   Two more atc's to make for a swap and a fat page for this months swap so I will need to get busy oh then there are 2 or is it 3 birthday cards to make for family, aaargh!  I think I'd better start with  the cards.

Hi Everyone,  I decided to join in the atc chain swap before I forgot how to make an atc so made 4 I think and then on Saturday I made a card using one of the cameos I had been given.
Also I decorated the back cover for my Fat page book it didn't work out the way I wanted that's why it's relegated to the back lol!  Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

An so we come to the end of another week

At the rate time is flying it will soon be Christmas, maybe I should start thinking about cards for the season.  But before that I still have quite a few birthdays to make cards for.  I've made two cards this week.  One for each of my sisters.  First one was to congratulate my little sis on getting a job.  The second card is a thank you card for middle sis for being a lovely sis.
Little sis has to go for her induction into the Greggs family tomorrow her birthday, poor thing( A six hour day and she has to travel to Edinburgh, hope it's not too hot for her).  Which is just as well as I still have her card to make lol!

Really happy with the way this one turned out, I used a variety of embossing folders, flower dies and lace ribbon with a little bit of bling.       Thanks for popping by.  I hope you are all well and having a good start to the weekend.         Anne xx

Oops pressed a wrong button.  Here is card #2
I used the 2nd folder on the packaging that it came in.  The card looks very dark in the photo but looks much nicer in real life.   Both the folders are by Darice  The die-cuts are Memeory Box.   Thanks for visiting and for any comments you leave.   As always they are appreciated.

An early start for me today, it's usually late by the time I get blog-hopping.  Thanks to everyone who left comments last week.  I have 2 cards to post this week.  I used my 2 new embossing folders.

The end of another hot day and visitors have just left.  Peace at last.  I did manage to make one card before they came so that was good.  I'm just waiting on the sun going down a bit so I can take the dog out for a cool walk.   I've got 2 cards to show you this week.   Both birthday cards.
Image on the 1st card is from the Tom Mielko cd I bought recently,  Background card is from a book of 24 double sided sheets, I can't make out (even with a magnifying glass) who designed it but it appears to have a Tilda logo.  It can make at least 48 cards so feel like I got a bargain. Happy birthday stamped on to green card, lace, roses and bling from my stash.

Again a sheet from the card backgrounds book die-cuts from majestic squares, image from the web, flowers and bling from stash, greeting computer generated then diecut and coloured with distress ink (worn lipstick).  Thanks for popping by and I hope you are coping with the heat and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

And it's another extremely hot day today, I hope everyone is enjoying it.  Me, I'm staying indoors where it's a bit cooler, not much mind you.

I made this card using the Josephine Wall cd I got from Joanna Sheen.  Decoupage is not my thing so this is the 1st and last.  I'll just be using the flat images from now on  I hate all that cutting especially all the fiddley bits.

Lace, velvet ribbon and candi from my stash

Thanks for visiting and for any comments you leave.  They are always appreciated.
