Good evening Crafters, well it's Friday again.  Is it just me or is it coming round quicker every week?.  It's been a wild and wet day here with lots of extra heavy downpours.  I made my first Christmas card this morning.  I used a Michael Powell stamp, one that can be used at any time of year.  No xmas lights or trees on it so used a die-cut snow-flake and tree.  I embossed the main card with the M-Bossabilities  Holliday Magic.  I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and de-bossed my card by mistake but it still looks okay.   Off to do a bit of blog-hopping now.  Hope you have all had a good week and I wish you a great weekend.

One more card I made last night using the Marianne oval die, flower and  card candi from my stash.  Stamped greeting on to white card  and added to red card, easy peasy.  Hope your weekend is going well so far.  I'm away over to DC for a wander and join the blog hop.  TTFN

Hello to all you crafty bloggers, it's another friday night so thought I should add photos of this weeks  crafty projects.  I made 2 cards and decorated an MDF heart.
I used some Tim Holtz papers as a backing.  The colours were quite strong so I dry brushed  the heart with some gesso and stamped  with a few random stamps.  Added a few die-cuts a bow and a rosette.
This card was made using my new Marianne large ovals, tied together embossing folder, paper flowers ribbon card candi and sticky back pearls from my stash
This card was made using my Marianne Anja corner (borrowed my friends corner and it made cutting out the square a lot easier)  Flowers and greeting from stash image came free with a magazine quite some time ago.
Thanks for visiting my blog and any comments you leave.  I hope you all have a lovely weekend

Good evening Crafters from a very cold Central Belt.  I've had to put the heating on it's so cold.  I hope it's warmer where you are.
I had a little play with my Splodgeaway mat and think I didn't do too badly for someone who could never get the hang of brayering.  I'm a long way from perfect but I was happy with 3 of my tries .  I shall have to watch Barbara Gray a few more times to get the hang of how she makes her hills.  I used one of my finished pics on this card for my Bro-in-law.
I used a mix of stamps from many vendors but the tree and giraffe are from Tanda Stamps and the tribesman is a Clarity stamp.
Background paper came from a friend, string card candi and greeting from my stash.

Evening Crafters, it's been a miserable day here today but I have brightened up the end of the day by having a little hop around the blogs.  So much wonderful inspiration out there!  I noticed I have a few more followers, so welcome ladies and thanks for any comments you leave for me.
I made this card for my sister, I couldn't for the life of me get started on this one.  Kept coming to the craft table, mind would go blank and I would spend the day/night moving things around. Finally it all came together yesterday just in time to give it to her today.

I used a square card blank.
Blue gingham backing paper
blue pearlised card
Marianne Anja corner die
Memory box leaves die
Marianne small butterflies die
torn paper flowers inked with distress inks (rusty hinge and weathered wood)
Card candi  and greeting

Thanks for popping by, hope you all have a good weekend.
