Last nights card

I made this card for one of my DC buddies.  It took ages, I didn't get any tidying up done and just shoved things out of the way so I had room to craft.  So maybe today I shall do something with this craft/dining room Lol!!

I used Blue card from my stash, blue frame is a Marianne  craftables die,  white oval is a sissex die, the corners are from a Shapeabilities die set, Parisian accents.  the border is from a Fiskers border punch.  Flowers from my stash

I've not

been in a crafty mood this week at all. Everything has been an effort.  However I did make some atc's to swap with a DC friends little granddaughter.  I had to go through a lot of stamps before finding some I thought a little girl would like.  Once I have added them to my blog I need to tidy this dining/craft- room so I have space for some birthday card I have to make.  I hope you have all had a good weekend and are finding time to craft.
Thanks for hopping along to my blog.

On top of the world
I just love you
The Ballerina
I am not a fan of
mouthless
images so I have added a smile to this Gorjuss image.

 I
love this image from Joanna Sheen.  It reminds me of my twin nieces and how the carried their cat.  They used to dress her up and push her around in the dolls pram.

The Ballerina is one of many lovely embroidered iron on images I like from Patsy May, one of our DC ATCers who does the rounds of the craft shows.

The weekend again, so soon!

Blimey the days are just flying by.  Today we have had snow, sunshine, rain, sunshine, hailstones, sunshine  should I go on? and ofcourse it has been bitterly cold.  So I have stayed snug and warm in my craft room practising my brayering and then trying it out on 2 cards.  Neither of which is perfect but I like the overall idea of them.
Hope you all are having a warm and cosy weekend, thanks for popping by.

Just finished

a card and an atc.  It's taken me ages.  I won't get another chance to craft till wWednesday so thought I'd get them added on while I have the pc.  My grandaughter is on holiday and even though she has a laptop and Blackberry she still would rather use my big old fashioned computer.
I have used the Portobello Rd papers and Urban stamps again for these uploads.  Hope you like them.  Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments.  The atc is for the friendship swap over on DC and the card is for a DC buddy

Finally

I have made the card for my nieces boy who is going to be 15 this week.  I decided to visit Hobbycraft and find some  teenage appropriate stash.  Came out with the Portobello Road 6"x6" papers and the Urban stamps.  This card is the finished result.  Took me hours of stopping and starting (lots of interuptions today)  I still need to do an insert but that can wait until tomorrow.  Right now it's time for bed.

Where does

the time go? the week is almost over and I have only made 1 card.  When I started it was going to be a birthday card for my great-nephew.  After an hour I discarded that idea and made a get well card for my friend who was in hospital for a major op.  So when I'm finished here I must get started on the male card.  Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to comment on my last blog.
I made this card using free papers from Simply Cards  and Papercraft. Flowers and card candi from my stash

Just for a change

I have been doing a lot of stamping lately so decided to finish off a couple of fat pages I had started a couple of years ago using papers and imiges..  They were forgotten about when I had to move back to the dining room and turn the craft room back into a bedroom.  How that broke my heart lol!!

I hope you have all having a good weekend and are  not snowed in.  We only have wind and rain here in Central Scotland, thankfully.  Well on to what I have been up to this week.  I made 2 atc's stamped with IndigoBlu stamp set   Grand Tour II which I just bought this week.  As some-one over on Docrafts said "I have become a collector of stamps rather than a stamper"  I think that goes for me as well.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for the comments you leave they are always appreciated
