One more fat page

Hi Everyone, I hope you have all had a great weeekend whatever you have been up to.  I got one more fat page made today.  I need to get them posted off to Cazro asap as I forgot to put an envelope in with my swaps for my february fat page..  Sometimes my brain works quiet well and other times you wouldn't know I had one LOL! The theme for April is steampunk, I'm not quite sure what that is so hope what I've done passes muster.

I've made these fat pages for a swap on Docrafts.  These are for March and the theme is spring.  I always do one for the swap and one for me.  Sometimes I have a hard time choosing which one to swap and which one to keep.  This is one of these times

Here we are again

Coming up to another weekend, how quickly this month is flying past.  A piece of good news for me.  All my cards were returned to the lady they were for, plus the money charged for some of them.  So that brightened up my week.
I've made 2 cards this week for a great niece and great nephew, brother and sister whose birthdays are only 2 days apart.  I think that is the rush on cards over and I can take it easy from now on.  Hope you like them and thanks for any comments you leave.

Really really annoyed!!!!

Not with anyone here though!!  While at church yesterday the lady I made a load of cards for asked if I had given anything to someone to pass on to her.  The answer was yes.  She had been in a car accident so was not at the lunch club to get the cards so my sister passed them on to her neighbour who is getting on in years.  She forgot who had given her the cards, plucked a name out of the card makers she knew and gave them to this woman who accepted them as hers and proceeded to sell some of them to the person they were meant for.  I can tell you now I did not feel very christian on Sunday morning.  I couldn't concentrate on the preacher for plotting my revenge if only I was brave enough.  The woman who claimed my cards as hers is mentally challenged except where making a buck is concerned.  Gggrrrr!  I am leaving it up to the original person the cards were made for to try and salvage the mess.  The money from the cards was meant for one of the charities supported by our church.  Sorry to have gone on but I'm still seething that anyone could mistake my cards for her scruffy efforts  and I can't really explode at church now can I.  Right now that's of my chest I shall upload another card and fat page for your perusal

A few bits

Just adding a few bits I did last week or was it the week before, whatever. it was definitely last year lol!  I hope all of you who visit have a very Happy New Year.  This year I hope to get a bit more arty with my crafting and to get birthday and anniversary cards made in plenty of time and not leave them till the last minute.  Before I start tho' I intend to really down size my craft stash.  I remember when I only had a few boxes and knew where everything was and tidied it all away when I was finished using it.  Now I struggle to find anything and have to spend ages clearing my dining table before I can get creative.

I made this card for a friend who was kind enough to give me cash for Christmas which enabled me to buy some more crafty bits.
Background paper was free with a magazine, Elvis stamp from my collection die-cut shape is a Marianne design and letters are a sizzix Monkey tails
